Teaching

You don’t need someone to tell you how they would write your screenplay.

You need someone who can help you discover the best version of the screenplay only you could write.

At UCLA

Teaching craft without flattening voice.

I teach screenwriting through structure, character, theme, scene work and rewrite, but the goal is never to make every script obey the same template. Craft should sharpen the writer’s point of view, not replace it.

My teaching focuses on helping writers understand what their story is actually trying to become, then giving them the tools to make that version inevitable.
